FAQ

Wall & floor printing — questions, answered.

Can I use wall printing for my living room makeover?

Absolutely — living rooms are one of our most popular jobs. We print full-colour murals, feature walls and photographic scenes directly onto your existing painted walls or wallpaper, with no seams and no mess. It's a fast, dust-light alternative to wallpapering or repainting, and you can preview your space with a free mock-up before committing.

What are the benefits of using floor printing for home decor?

Printed floors add a hard-wearing, completely bespoke finish you can't get off the shelf — from 3D illusions to bold geometric patterns and branded graphics. Our UV-cured inks bond to the surface for a durable, easy-to-clean result that's ideal for hallways, kitchens, garages and play areas. Seamless, slip-rated options are available, and every design is made to your exact dimensions.

How do I choose the right design for my wall printing project?

Start with the mood you want for the room — calming, bold, playful or premium — then pick a scale that suits the wall. You can send us your own photo or artwork, or send us your idea for a free mock-up and design service. We'll show you exactly how it will look on your wall before anything is printed, so you can tweak it until it's perfect.

What is the cost of custom wall printing services?

Pricing is transparent — it starts from a £250 minimum, which covers our setup and logistics plus any image up to 50×50cm (0.25m²). Larger areas are then priced at £99 per additional square metre. Textured 3D relief adds £35/m² on top. See our full pricing page for the complete breakdown, or send us a photo for a free, no-obligation quote.

Can I design my own wall print and have it printed?

Yes — just send us your photo, logo or artwork (JPG, PNG, TIFF, PDF, SVG, AI or EPS) and we'll check it's print-ready at full scale before anything goes ahead. We never downscale your original, and we can help refine or recreate artwork if needed.

What are the different types of wall printing materials available?

We print direct-to-surface on a huge range of materials: painted plaster, wallpaper, concrete, brick, wood, glass, metal and epoxy floors. Each surface keys the ink differently — concrete gives a fresco-like depth, glass allows backlit and frosted effects, and textured 3D relief can be built up in layers for a tactile finish. If you're unsure about your surface, send us a photo and we'll advise.

How do I care for my wall prints to make them last?

Our UV-cured prints are finished with a protective lacquer topcoat and are tough and low-maintenance. Interior prints simply need an occasional wipe with a soft, damp cloth — avoid abrasive pads or harsh solvents. Let the print fully cure for the first 24–48 hours before cleaning. Cared for correctly, interior prints are covered by our 5-year guarantee, and exterior prints by a 3-year guarantee against fade (subject to fair use).

Why is your guarantee 5 years, not 10 or 12?

You'll see some providers advertise guarantees of 10 or even 12 years. UV ink is genuinely durable, but a claim that long rarely holds up once you factor in real-world sunlight exposure, handling and everyday wear. Our 5-year interior / 3-year exterior guarantee, backed by a protective lacquer topcoat, is a number we're confident stands behind every job we do — we'd rather give you a figure you can trust than the biggest number on the page.
